The company disrupts the over $56 billion U.S. pet food industry by offering fresh, minimally processed dog food, cat food, and treats that appeal to pet owners seeking healthier alternatives to conventional kibble and canned products.
The company operates a single reportable segment focused on manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of fresh pet food. Freshpet products are sold under the Freshpet brand name, with fresh treats offered under the Dognation and Dog Joy labels. The product portfolio includes fresh slice-and-serve rolls, bags, and treats featuring real meat and poultry combined with vegetables, fruits, and whole grains without preservatives or additives.
