The company operates 180 banking locations and 221 automated teller machines across its footprint. Hancock Whitney employed 3,627 full-time equivalent associates as of year-end 2025, with approximately 43 percent engaged in consumer banking, 12 percent in commercial banking, 10 percent in wealth management, and 35 percent in treasury, operations, and other corporate functions.

The company's core business encompasses traditional and online banking services including transaction and savings deposit products, treasury management services, secured and unsecured loan products, letters of credit, trust and investment management services, and access to investment advisory and brokerage products. The loan portfolio spans commercial and industrial lending, commercial real estate including owner-occupied and income-producing properties, construction and land development, residential mortgages, and consumer loans. Hancock Whitney Equipment Finance subsidiaries provide commercial finance and leasing products to middle market and corporate clients.

In May 2025, the company acquired Sabal Trust Company, a Florida-based trust firm, expanding assets under management by approximately three billion dollars and strengthening the company's presence in high-growth central Florida markets. The trust department administered approximately $39.7 billion in assets as of December 31, 2025, comprising investment management accounts, custody and safekeeping accounts, corporate trust accounts, and personal and employee benefit trust accounts. The company pursues organic growth through hiring revenue-generating associates and expanding its footprint in Florida and Texas markets while evaluating acquisition opportunities to enhance shareholder value.
