Hilltop Holdings Inc. (NYSE: HTH) is a diversified financial holding company providing business and consumer banking services, investment banking, brokerage services, and residential mortgage origination throughout the United States, with particular strength in Texas. The company operates through three primary reportable segments: banking, broker-dealer, and mortgage origination.

The banking segment, operated through PlainsCapital Corporation and its subsidiary PlainsCapital Bank, provides traditional banking and wealth management services primarily across Texas. At year-end 2025, the banking segment held approximately $12.7 billion in assets and $11.0 billion in deposits. The bank's loan portfolio is diversified across commercial real estate, commercial and industrial lending, construction and land development, residential mortgage lending, and consumer products, with particular expertise in real estate lending and treasury management services for business customers.

The broker-dealer segment operates through Hilltop Securities Inc. and Momentum Independent Network Inc., conducting business nationwide with significant operations in Texas, New York, and California. This segment provides public finance services, structured finance advisory, fixed income sales and trading, and wealth management services including retail brokerage, clearing services for correspondent firms, and securities lending. At year-end 2025, Hilltop Securities maintained $2.9 billion in total assets and net capital of $220.6 million.

The mortgage origination segment operates through PrimeLending, a residential mortgage banker licensed in all fifty states and the District of Columbia. PrimeLending originated $8.9 billion in closed mortgage loan volume during 2025, with approximately 86 percent related to home purchases. The company operates from over 170 locations across 46 states and employs approximately 1,300 people in this segment.

Hilltop Holdings employed approximately 3,500 full-time employees across all segments at year-end 2025. The company maintains its principal office in Dallas, Texas and operates its website at www.hilltop.com. On a consolidated basis, Hilltop reported total assets of $15.8 billion, total deposits of $10.9 billion, and stockholders' equity of $2.2 billion as of December 31, 2025.
