What INSPERITY, INC. does
In the company’s own words
Insperity, Inc. (NYSE: NSP) operates as a comprehensive business performance solutions provider serving small and medium-sized businesses throughout the United States. The company's website is www.insperity.com.
Founded in 1986, Insperity pioneered the professional employer organization (PEO) industry and has evolved into a full-service human resources and business solutions company. The company's primary revenue driver is its Insperity HR360 solution, a comprehensive PEO offering that provides payroll and benefits administration, employment compliance, workers' compensation management, and human capital management services. Complementing this core offering are the HR360 Select Edition for middle market clients and the newly developed HRScale solution, created through a strategic partnership with Workday to serve growing and middle market companies with advanced capabilities at competitive pricing.
Insperity operates through a high-touch, high-tech service delivery model combining personalized advisory services with proprietary technology platforms. The company's Insperity Premier web-based human capital management platform and Workday HCM-based solutions provide clients, worksite employees, and managers with integrated tools for payroll processing, benefits management, performance tracking, and workforce analytics. As of December 31, 2025, Insperity maintained 73 physical office locations across 44 markets and serviced an average of 312,377 worksite employees per month in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Beyond its core PEO services, Insperity offers complementary business solutions including HRCore, a traditional payroll and human capital management solution; Talent Acquisition Services; Retirement Services; Insurance Services; Contractor Management; and Perks+, an earned wage access program.
The company's client base spans diverse industries, with no single sector representing excessive concentration risk. Insperity maintains significant vendor relationships, particularly with UnitedHealthcare for group health insurance coverage and Chubb for workers' compensation coverage. The company's competitive positioning is reinforced by its higher-than-industry-average staff support ratio and superior per-worksite-employee profitability metrics compared to industry benchmarks. Insperity achieved an 83 percent client retention rate in 2025, reflecting the value proposition of its integrated service offerings and regulatory expertise.
