What Legacy Housing Corp does
In the company’s own words
Legacy Housing Corporation (Nasdaq: LEGH) builds, sells, and finances manufactured homes and Tiny Houses distributed through independent retailers, company-owned stores, and direct sales to manufactured housing communities. The company operates at www.legacyhousing.com and maintains its corporate office in the southern United States with primary operations focused across 15 states.
The company manufactures its products at three U.S. facilities strategically located in Fort Worth and Commerce, Texas, and Eatonton, Georgia. These factories employ high-volume production techniques capable of producing approximately 60 fully-completed homes per week depending on product mix. Legacy's homes range from approximately 395 to 2,667 square feet with one to five bedrooms and one to three-and-a-half bathrooms, priced at retail from approximately $47,000 to $200,000. The company also produces Tiny Houses, recreational structures between 320 and 399 square feet designed as temporary dwellings.
As of December 31, 2025, Legacy operated 14 company-owned retail locations and distributed through a network of over 80 independent retailers. The company sold 1,703 units comprising 2,253 home sections during 2025, with approximately 52 percent of product sales from Texas, 8 percent from Georgia, and the remainder distributed across 13 additional states. Approximately 44 percent of 2025 product sales came from independent retail distributors, 21 percent from company-owned retail locations, and 35 percent from direct sales to manufactured housing community owners.
Legacy operates as a vertically integrated manufacturer offering complete solutions including custom home design, manufacturing, distribution, and financing. The company provides three financing types: inventory financing for independent retailers, consumer financing for end-users, and financing for manufactured housing community owners. As of December 31, 2025, the company had approximately 592 employees and maintained over 1,000 acres of developable land across Texas for future community development opportunities.
In November 2025, Legacy completed the acquisition of substantially all assets of AmeriCasa Solutions, expanding its distribution capabilities and acquiring the FutureHomeX cloud-based software platform serving manufactured home retailers and communities.
