In the company’s own words
Limbach Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: LMBH) is a building systems solutions firm headquartered in Warrendale, Pennsylvania that designs, delivers, and maintains mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and controls (MEPC) systems for mission-critical facilities. The company operates through two primary segments: Owner Direct Relationships (ODR) and General Contractor Relationships (GCR). The ODR segment, which generated approximately 75 percent of consolidated revenue in 2025, focuses on direct relationships with building owners through integrated facility planning, service and maintenance, equipment replacements and retrofits, rental equipment solutions, MEPC infrastructure upgrades, and energy efficiency and decarbonization services. The GCR segment provides new construction and renovation project services through plan and specification bidding and design-build or design-assist methodologies, representing approximately 25 percent of revenue.
The company serves customers across healthcare, industrial and manufacturing, data centers, life sciences, higher education, and cultural and entertainment markets. With approximately 1,500 team members across 21 offices throughout the Eastern and Midwestern regions of the United States, Limbach generated record annual revenue of $646.8 million in 2025. The company maintains hundreds of building owner relationships and has no single customer representing more than 10 percent of consolidated revenue in either segment, providing significant diversification.
Limbach's competitive positioning rests on its breadth of integrated solutions, emphasis on safety and quality, technical expertise in complex systems, and ability to serve as a single-source provider across the full lifecycle of building system needs. The company pursues a three-pillar growth strategy focused on organic ODR expansion, improved GCR segment margins through selective project pursuit, and disciplined acquisitions. Recent acquisitions including Pioneer Power, Consolidated Mechanical, and Kent Island Mechanical have expanded the company's geographic footprint and service capabilities.
