Louisiana-Pacific Corporation (NASDAQ: LPX) is a leading provider of high-performance building solutions serving the new home construction, repair and remodeling, and outdoor structures markets across North America and South America. Founded in 1972 and headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, the company operates more than 20 manufacturing facilities throughout the United States, Canada, Chile, and Brazil. The company operates through two reportable segments plus other operations. The Siding segment, which generated 62 percent of 2025 net sales of $2.7 billion, manufactures engineered wood siding, trim, soffit, and fascia products under brands including LP SmartSide and LP BuilderSeries. These products are offered both primed and pre-finished and serve new construction, repair and remodeling, and outdoor structure applications. The Oriented Strand Board (OSB) segment contributed 31 percent of revenue and produces structural panel products used as roof decking, sidewall sheathing, and floor underlayment, including the LP Structural Solutions portfolio featuring fire-rated sheathing, air and water barriers, and premium subflooring products. Other operations, representing 7 percent of sales, include South American manufacturing and distribution of OSB and siding products along with timber and timberlands operations.
Louisiana-Pacific employs approximately 4,300 people, with roughly 2,800 in the United States, 800 in Canada, and 800 in South America. Approximately 3,500 employees work at manufacturing facilities, and approximately 1,200 are subject to collective bargaining agreements. The company's principal customers include wholesale distribution companies, building materials dealers, home centers, and retail chains serving both professional builders and do-it-yourself consumers.
The company sources all wood fiber sustainably according to Sustainable Forestry Initiative and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification standards.
