(NASDAQ: MTSI) designs, develops and manufactures differentiated semiconductor products and solutions for customers in the Industrial and Defense, Data Center and Telecommunications industries. The company maintains its headquarters in Lowell, Massachusetts and operates fabrication, assembly and test facilities across North America, Europe and Asia. The company offers a broad portfolio of thousands of standard and custom devices including integrated circuits, multi-chip modules, diodes, amplifiers, switches and switch limiters, passive and active components and radio frequency and optical subsystems. These products serve over 6,000 end customers across dozens of product lines. MACOM's primary markets include military and commercial radar, RF jammers, electronic countermeasures, communication data links and space-related electronics in the Industrial and Defense segment; intra-data center and data center interconnect applications at speeds ranging from 100G to 3.2T in the Data Center segment; and carrier infrastructure including long-haul and metro networks, 5G and 6G infrastructure, satellite communications and fiber-to-the-X applications in the Telecommunications segment.

The company employs approximately 2,000 individuals worldwide, with 75 percent in North America, 13 percent in Asia Pacific and 12 percent in Europe. MACOM operates a fab-lite manufacturing model combining internal semiconductor wafer fabrication and assembly and test capabilities with external foundry and manufacturing partners. The company maintains Trusted Foundry status from the United States Department of Defense and operates fabrication facilities utilizing gallium arsenide, gallium nitride, indium phosphide and specialized silicon technologies.

MACOM's heritage extends over 70 years, with the MACOM brand established over 30 years ago. Recent acquisitions including Linearizer Technology, the MACOM European Semiconductor Center, Wolfspeed's RF Business and ENGIN-IC have expanded the company's technology portfolio, geographic footprint and addressable markets. The company sells through a global multi-channel strategy utilizing direct sales forces, application engineering staff, independent sales representatives and distributors positioned across North America, Asia and Europe.
