The company operates through its website at www.MarcusMillichap.com and maintains a dominant position in the $1 million to $10 million private client market, which represents the largest and most active segment of U.S. commercial property transactions, consistently comprising more than 80% of total transactions above $1 million.
The company generates revenue primarily through real estate brokerage commissions, which accounted for approximately 84% of revenues, followed by financing fees at 14% and other services at 2%. In 2025, the company closed 8,818 sales, financing, and other transactions with total sales volume of approximately $50.8 billion. The brokerage operations are supported by Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC), which provides commercial real estate capital markets solutions including senior debt, mezzanine debt, joint venture, and preferred equity services.
