MarineMax, Inc. (NYSE: HZO) operates as the world's largest recreational boat and yacht retailer, marina operator, and superyacht services company. The company maintains over 120 locations worldwide, including more than 70 retail dealership locations and over 65 marina and storage facilities. MarineMax's website is www.MarineMax.com.

The company operates through two primary segments: Retail Operations and Product Manufacturing. The Retail Operations segment, representing the majority of revenue, encompasses over 70 retail dealership locations across twenty states where the company sells new and used recreational boats, marine products, and related services. This segment includes repair and maintenance services, slip and storage rentals, boat financing and insurance arrangements, brokerage sales, and yacht charter services. The segment also encompasses Fraser Yachts Group and Northrop & Johnson, leading superyacht brokerage and luxury yacht services companies with global operations, as well as IGY Marinas, a network of luxury marinas across the Americas, Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. The Product Manufacturing segment includes Cruisers Yachts, which manufactures sport yachts and yachts including the Aviara luxury dayboat line, and Intrepid Powerboats, a producer of customized powerboats.

During fiscal 2025, new boat sales accounted for approximately 60.9 percent of revenue at $1.407 billion, while used boat sales represented 13.3 percent. The company maintains exclusive or significant distribution agreements with major manufacturers including Brunswick Corporation, whose Sea Ray and Boston Whaler brands accounted for approximately 8 percent and 9 percent of revenue respectively. Azimut-Benetti Group products represented approximately 6 percent of revenue. Additional revenue streams include maintenance and repair services at 10.6 percent, brokerage commissions at 5.0 percent, marine engines and parts at 4.7 percent, and finance and insurance products at 3.5 percent.

MarineMax emphasizes premium brand positioning, with an average new boat selling price of approximately $339,000 in fiscal 2025, substantially above the industry average. The company operates through a decentralized management structure with centralized administrative functions, focusing on customer service, hassle-free sales through its MarineMax One Price approach, and the boating lifestyle experience through MarineMax Getaways programs.
