The company operates through three reportable segments: Performance and Wake, Leisure, and Recreation and Sport Fishing. The Performance and Wake segment manufactures premium ski and wake boats under the MasterCraft brand, which was founded in 1968 and has become the most award-winning ski and wake boat manufacturer globally. The Leisure segment produces pontoon boats through the Crest brand, acquired in 2018 and founded in 1957, and the Balise brand, a luxury pontoon line launched in April 2024. The Recreation and Sport Fishing segment includes the Chaparral and Robalo brands, acquired through the May 2026 merger with Marine Products Corporation. Chaparral, founded in 1965, serves the family recreational market, while Robalo, founded in 1969, specializes in sport fishing boats for both freshwater and saltwater applications.
MasterCraft operates three primary manufacturing facilities: a 310,000 square-foot facility in Vonore, Tennessee for MasterCraft production, a 270,000 square-foot facility in Owosso, Michigan for Crest and Balise production, and a 1,262,000 square-foot facility in Nashville, Georgia for Chaparral and Robalo production. The company employs approximately 1,400 people across these locations, with no unionized workforce.
