Maximus, Inc. (NYSE: MXM) is a leading provider of tech-enabled services to government agencies, celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2025. The company operates through three reportable segments: U.S. Federal Services, which generated 56% of fiscal 2025 revenue; U.S. Services, contributing 32% of revenue; and Outside the U.S., representing 11% of revenue. Maximus serves more than 100 million American citizens as well as citizens in the United Kingdom, Canada, and the Middle East.

The company's core business encompasses program operations and management, clinical services, and advanced technology solutions for federal and state government agencies. In the U.S. Federal Services segment, Maximus manages large health insurance eligibility and enrollment programs, operates the Contact Center for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services supporting the Affordable Care Act marketplace and Medicare, provides medical disability examinations for the Department of Veterans Affairs, and delivers technology modernization services. The U.S. Services segment provides program administration for Medicaid, the Children's Health Insurance Program, state health insurance exchanges, and employment services. The Outside the U.S. segment delivers employment services, health and disability assessments, and program administration across international markets.

As of September 30, 2025, Maximus employed approximately 37,200 employees and 9,300 contingent workers distributed across its three segments and corporate functions. The company operates through various service delivery channels including digitally enabled contact centers, mail-room operations, web-based platforms, and technology solutions infrastructure.
