Minerals Technologies Inc. (NYSE: MTI) operates as a global, technology-driven specialty minerals company that develops, produces, and markets a wide range of minerals and mineral-based products and services. The company maintains operations at www.mineralstech.com and serves customers across numerous industries worldwide through a vertically integrated business model extending from mine to market.

The company operates through two primary reportable segments. The Consumer & Specialties segment, representing 53 percent of net sales, provides mineral-to-market finished products and specialty mineral-based solutions to consumer end markets. This segment includes the Household & Personal Care product line, which delivers sodium bentonite-based cat litter products marketed under the SIVO brand, along with filtration media, feed additives, fabric care products, and personal care ingredients. The Specialty Additives product line manufactures customized Precipitated Calcium Carbonate and Ground Calcium Carbonate products for paper, packaging, food, pharmaceutical, adhesives, coatings, and plastics applications, often through satellite plants located near customer facilities.

The Engineered Solutions segment, accounting for 47 percent of net sales, provides advanced process technologies and solutions to industrial end markets. The High-Temperature Technologies product line delivers mineral-based blends and refractory systems to foundry, steel, glass, and aluminum industries, including proprietary Green Sand Bonds and monolithic refractory products. The Environmental & Infrastructure product line offers geosynthetic clay lining systems, waterproofing technologies, environmental remediation solutions including FLUORO-SORB adsorbent for PFAS treatment, drilling products, and offshore filtration services.

Minerals Technologies employs 3,782 persons globally across operations in over 30 countries, with workforce distribution spanning North America, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. The company maintains mineral reserves of sodium and calcium bentonite at multiple U.S. locations and internationally, along with limestone reserves supporting its Specialty Additives operations. The company owns or controls approximately 232 patents and 1,808 trademarks related to its business. As the world's largest producer of bentonite and a leading producer of calcium carbonate, the company competes on product quality, technical support, service, price, and logistics capabilities, supported by a worldwide direct sales force and technical service teams.
