MYR Group operates under multiple trade names including The L.E. Myers Co., Harlan Electric Company, Great Southwestern Construction Inc., and Sturgeon Electric Company Inc. in the United States, with additional operations in Canada under brands including MYR Transmission Services Canada Ltd. and Northern Transmission Services Ltd. The company maintains a substantial fleet of specialized equipment including bucket trucks, cranes, wire pullers, and wire tensioning machines, supported by centralized fleet management and regional maintenance facilities.
As of December 31, 2025, the company employed approximately 9,000 individuals, comprising roughly 7,200 craft employees and 1,800 administrative and management personnel. Approximately 85% of craft employees are union members, primarily affiliated with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. The company serves a diverse customer base including investor-owned utilities, cooperatives, independent power producers, general contractors, and facility owners. Top ten customers represented 38.0% of annual revenues, with no single customer exceeding 10% of revenues. MYR Group's backlog totaled approximately $2.8 billion as of year-end 2025, with $2.4 billion estimated for recognition within twelve months.
