Pilgrim's Pride Corporation (NASDAQ: PPC) operates as a vertically integrated producer, processor, marketer and distributor of fresh, frozen and value-added chicken and pork products. The company maintains its website at www.pilgrims.com and serves a diverse customer base spanning retailers, distributors and foodservice operators across the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, Mexico and over 120 additional countries. JBS S.A. beneficially owns 82.28% of the company's outstanding common stock.
The company generates revenue through three reportable segments: U.S., Europe, and Mexico. In 2025, the U.S. segment contributed approximately 59.5% of total net sales of $18.5 billion, with Europe representing 29.1% and Mexico 11.4%. Within these segments, fresh products dominate the U.S. and Mexico operations at 80.9% and 83.2% of segment sales respectively, while Europe's revenue is more balanced between fresh products at 29.9% and prepared foods at 58.6%.
Pilgrim's operates an extensive global network including approximately 4,500 growers, 36 feed mills, 50 hatcheries, 39 processing plants, 28 prepared foods cook plants, 38 distribution centers, 10 protein conversion facilities and five pet food plants.
