Post Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: POST) operates as a consumer packaged goods holding company with a diversified portfolio of branded and private label food products across multiple categories and distribution channels. The company website is www.postholdings.com.
Post manufactures, markets and sells products primarily in the center-of-the-store, refrigerated, foodservice and food ingredient categories. The company operates through four reportable segments: Post Consumer Brands, which produces ready-to-eat cereals, granola, nut butters and pet food products; Weetabix, which manufactures and distributes cereals and related products primarily outside North America; Foodservice, which produces egg and potato products for foodservice and food ingredient channels; and Refrigerated Retail, which provides side dishes, eggs, sausage, cheese and other refrigerated food products to retail customers.
Post Consumer Brands accounted for a significant portion of consolidated net sales, with cereal and granola representing 32.4 percent of total sales and pet food representing 19.2 percent. Eggs and egg products from the Foodservice and Refrigerated Retail segments combined for 29.6 percent of consolidated net sales. The company owns or licenses numerous trademarks including Honey Bunches of Oats, Pebbles, Malt-O-Meal, Peter Pan, Nutrish, 9Lives, Kibbles 'n Bits, Weetabix, Alpen, Bob Evans, Simply Potatoes, Crystal Farms and Egg Beaters.
Post operates approximately 21 owned and leased manufacturing facilities in the United States and Canada for its Post Consumer Brands segment, four owned facilities in the United Kingdom for Weetabix, and multiple production facilities across its Foodservice and Refrigerated Retail segments. The company employs 13,180 people as of November 2025, with 11,390 in the United States, 1,210 in the United Kingdom, 450 in Canada and 130 in other jurisdictions. Walmart is the company's largest customer, representing 17.4 percent of consolidated net sales.
Post was spun off from its former parent company in February 2012 and has grown through numerous acquisitions including MOM Brands, Weetabix Limited, Michael Foods, Bob Evans Farms and various pet food operations. The company recently acquired the remaining equity interests in 8th Avenue in July 2025 and announced plans to divest the pasta business in its first quarter of fiscal 2026.
