The company operates through four reportable segments. The Hydraulic Fracturing segment provides multi-stage fracturing services for horizontal shale wellbores, with total available hydraulic horsepower of 1,259,500 HHP as of December 31, 2025, comprised of conventional Tier II equipment, Tier IV Dynamic Gas Blending dual-fuel equipment, and FORCE® electric-powered equipment. The Wireline segment operates 28 mobile wireline units providing well completion services including perforating and pumpdown operations. The Cementing segment operates 29 cementing units delivering pressure pumping services for new well completions and remedial work. The Power Generation segment, launched in December 2024 under the PROPWR brand, provides turnkey mobile power generation services to oil and gas producers and industrial applications including data centers, with approximately 240 megawatts of committed capacity as of February 2026.
ProPetro's operations are primarily concentrated in the Permian Basin, particularly the Midland and Delaware sub-basins, where the company has cultivated longstanding relationships with leading E&P companies.
