In the company’s own words
Rollins, Inc. (NYSE: ROL) is an international pest and wildlife control services company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia and operating through a portfolio of leading brands including Orkin, HomeTeam Pest Defense, Clark Pest Control, Northwest Exterminating, Fox Pest Control, Critter Control, and numerous others. The company maintains a presence in approximately 70 countries through more than 800 company-owned and franchised locations, serving more than two million residential and commercial customers. Rollins operates under a single reportable segment with three primary service offerings: residential pest control protecting properties from rodents, insects and wildlife; commercial workplace pest control solutions across diverse end markets including healthcare and food service; and termite and ancillary services. As of December 31, 2025, approximately 75 percent of revenue derives from recurring services under scheduled service agreements, 10 percent from ancillary services such as exclusion and moisture remediation, and 15 percent from one-time treatments. The contracted and recurring nature of services provides visibility into future revenue.
The company employed 21,946 people as of December 31, 2025, with approximately 19,700 located in the United States. Rollins generated consolidated net revenues of $3.761 billion in 2025. The business is seasonal, with higher revenues and profitability in spring and summer months when pest activity increases and termites undergo metamorphosis.
Rollins operates a robust proprietary technology platform including the Branch Operating Support System (BOSS) for back-end service tracking and payment processing, and InSite, a web reporting tool for commercial customers. The company maintains relationships with a vast network of national product distributors and manufacturers to ensure adequate supply of pest control treatment products and materials.
Founded in 1964 when brothers O. Wayne and John Rollins acquired Orkin Exterminating Company, the firm began trading on the New York Stock Exchange in 1968. Acquisitions have been integral to growth strategy, with 94 acquisitions completed over the prior three years including 26 in 2025. The company also operates franchise programs through Orkin, Critter Control, MissQuito, and Australian subsidiaries, with 131 domestic and 66 international franchise agreements as of year-end 2025.
