What Sabre Corp does
In the company’s own words
Sabre Corporation (NASDAQ: SABRE) operates as a global technology platform serving the travel industry through its comprehensive travel marketplace and software solutions. The company's website is located at investors.sabre.com. Following the disposition of its Hospitality Solutions business in 2025, Sabre manages its operations as a single reportable segment focused on connecting travel suppliers with travel buyers through the Sabre Mosaic Marketplace.
The company's core business facilitates travel transactions by bringing together travel content including inventory, prices, and availability from airlines, hotels, car rental brands, rail carriers, cruise lines, and tour operators with a large network of travel buyers such as online travel agencies, offline travel agencies, travel management companies, and corporate travel departments. Sabre generates revenue through multiple channels including transaction fees from bookings made through its global distribution system, software-as-a-service and hosted solutions, software licensing, and professional services.
Sabre's product portfolio includes reservation systems for full-cost and low-cost carriers, commercial and operations products, agency solutions, and data-driven intelligence solutions. The company launched SabreMosaic Airline Technology in 2024, a proprietary offer and order retailing platform designed with modular, artificial intelligence-enabled open technology structure for airlines to create, sell, and deliver personalized content to travelers.
As of December 31, 2025, Sabre employed 4,650 people globally, with workforce distribution across the United States (23 percent), Asia-Pacific (28 percent), Europe (28 percent), and other regions including Canada, Mexico, Latin America, Middle East, and Africa (20 percent). The company maintains 49 offices worldwide and serves airlines of varying sizes across every global region, including hybrid carriers, low-cost carriers, global network carriers, and regional network carriers.
Sabre's business model emphasizes innovation in travel technology, operational stability and security, and modernization of its technical architecture from mainframe-based systems to cloud-based distributed processing. The company competes in highly competitive markets against other global distribution systems, local distribution systems, direct airline distribution channels, and emerging travel technology providers offering metasearch and aggregation capabilities.
