The company maintains its website at www.shorebancshares.com and serves as the largest independent financial holding company headquartered on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
The Bank operates 40 full-service branches and 10 loan production and administration offices across Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia, providing comprehensive commercial and consumer banking services. Core offerings include commercial checking, savings, certificates of deposit, and investment sweep accounts for businesses, alongside secured and unsecured commercial lending, working capital loans, lines of credit, and real estate acquisition and development financing. Consumer services encompass checking and savings accounts, mortgage loans, personal loans, credit cards, automobile financing, and 24-hour ATM access with mobile and internet banking capabilities.
The company expanded significantly through the July 2023 acquisition of The Community Financial Corporation and its subsidiary Community Bank of the Chesapeake, which extended operations into Southern Maryland counties including Charles, St. Mary's, and Calvert, as well as the greater Fredericksburg area in Virginia.
