In the company’s own words
Skillsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: SKIL) operates as a comprehensive skills management platform and learning solutions provider serving enterprise organizations globally. The company website is located at investor.skillsoft.com.
The company delivers an integrated platform designed to help organizations manage the human and artificial intelligence skills lifecycle, including visibility into existing capabilities, closing skills gaps, matching skills to work, and measuring how skills development impacts business performance. Skillsoft evolved from a content-centric model to an AI-native enterprise skills management platform that consolidates learning content, skills data, proficiency measurement, and administrative controls within a unified system.
Skillsoft operates through two reportable segments: Talent Development Solutions (TDS) and Global Knowledge (GK). The TDS segment comprises the enterprise-focused Skills Management Platform, which serves over 3,000 customers and 42 million employees worldwide through subscription-based agreements, and the Learner Platform, which provides interactive, practice-based technology skill development experiences for approximately 59 million registered learners globally. The Global Knowledge segment provides instructor-led training delivered both in-person and virtually, serving 75 percent of Fortune 100 corporations with vendor-authored and certified courses.
The Skillsoft Percipio Platform integrates more than 431,000 learning assets across leadership and business, technology, and compliance subject areas, supporting 52 localized language variants. The platform includes proprietary capabilities such as CAISY for AI-driven simulations, LX Design Studio for content creation, and embedded AI functionality for personalization and benchmarking. Content is delivered through multiple modalities including digital courses, microlearning modules, simulations, live instruction, labs, bootcamps, coaching, and assessments.
As of January 31, 2026, Skillsoft employed 2,247 total employees across its global operations. The company addresses an estimated $450 billion market opportunity across enterprise learning, workforce development, and skills management solutions. The organization competes in a fragmented market against digital learning content providers, enterprise learning platforms, skills intelligence vendors, and large enterprise software providers offering adjacent workforce capabilities.
