SmartFinancial's core business centers on traditional community banking services delivered through a network of 42 full-service bank branches and two loan production offices across East and Middle Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. The company maintains a wholly-owned subsidiary, Fountain Equipment Finance, LLC, which provides loans and leases for heavy equipment, semi-trucks, and trailers to small and medium-sized businesses throughout the Southeast, with offices in Knoxville, Atlanta, Memphis, Nashville, and Birmingham.

Beyond lending, SmartFinancial offers comprehensive deposit products including checking accounts, savings accounts, money market accounts, individual retirement accounts, and certificates of deposit.
