(NYSE: SMP) is a leading manufacturer and distributor of premium replacement parts for the automotive aftermarket and a custom-engineered solutions provider to vehicle and equipment manufacturers across diverse end markets. The company operates through four reportable segments: Vehicle Control, Temperature Control, Nissens Automotive, and Engineered Solutions. The Vehicle Control segment supplies engine management components, electrical and safety systems, and wire sets for ignition systems. The Temperature Control segment provides air conditioning system components and thermal management parts. Nissens Automotive, acquired in November 2024, offers European thermal management and engine efficiency products including radiators, compressors, and turbochargers. The Engineered Solutions segment delivers custom solutions for thermal management, sensors, switches, power distribution, electrification, injection and fuel delivery systems, and clamping devices to original equipment manufacturers and tier suppliers across commercial vehicles, construction, agriculture, power sports, marine, and other industrial applications.
Standard Motor Products maintains a geographically diverse manufacturing footprint with significant operations in North America and Europe, employing approximately 5,700 people across facilities in the United States, Mexico, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, the United Kingdom, China, and Hong Kong.
