The company maintains its corporate website at www.strattec.com and serves as a premier partner to original equipment manufacturers through generations of access and security engineering expertise.
The company's product portfolio spans three primary categories: Permission products that securely authorize vehicle entry and use, including mechanical and electronically enhanced locks, keys, fobs, passive entry passive start systems, digital key solutions, and steering column ignition lock housings; Motion products providing powered access and movement such as power sliding doors, power tailgates, lift gate systems, and power deck lid systems; and Hold products comprising patented high-function latches ranging from power clinching latches to release latches. All products are safety critical and powertrain agnostic, applicable across internal combustion, plug-in hybrid, and electric vehicle platforms.
Strattec operates an integrated manufacturing and engineering platform across six facilities located in the United States and Mexico, supporting the full product lifecycle from development through customer support. The company employs 2,654 associates, including 395 in the United States, 2,252 in Mexico, and 7 in other countries.
