What TITAN INTERNATIONAL INC does

In the company’s own words

Titan International, Inc. (NYSE: TWI) is a global manufacturer and supplier of wheels, tires, assemblies, and undercarriage systems for off-highway equipment. The company traces its heritage to the Electric Wheel Company, founded in 1890 in Quincy, Illinois, and has grown through strategic acquisitions including Goodyear's North American farm tire assets, Continental's off-the-road tire business, and most recently the 2024 acquisition of Carlstar, now operating as Titan Specialty. The company operates through three primary business segments: Agricultural, Earthmoving/Construction, and Consumer. The Agricultural segment manufactures wheels and tires for tractors, combines, and other farm equipment, offering products under the Goodyear Farm Tire, Titan Tire, Carlstar, and Voltyre-Prom brands. The Earthmoving/Construction segment produces specialized wheels, tires, and undercarriage components for mining, construction, and forestry equipment, including track groups, rollers, and sprockets. The Consumer segment, expanded through the Carlstar acquisition, manufactures wheels and tires for outdoor power equipment, power sports, trailers, and small to midsize agricultural equipment, selling under brands including Carlisle, ITP, and Black Rock. Titan maintains manufacturing facilities across North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia, with approximately 8,200 employees worldwide as of December 31, 2025. The company's competitive advantages include its integrated wheel and tire manufacturing capabilities enabling one-stop assembly solutions, proprietary Low Sidewall tire technology that reduces soil compaction and improves fuel efficiency, long-term relationships with major OEM customers including Deere, Caterpillar, and CNH Global, and vertically integrated undercarriage manufacturing with advanced digital monitoring systems.
