TriMas Corporation (NASDAQ: TRS) is a diversified manufacturer of specialty products serving consumer products, aerospace and defense, and industrial markets. The company operates through two continuing segments following the announced sale of its Aerospace division. TriMas maintains its corporate website at www.trimas.com.
The Packaging segment, representing 83 percent of continuing operations revenue, designs and manufactures highly engineered polymeric and steel closure and dispensing systems for consumer packaging applications including beauty and personal care, food and beverage, and home care, as well as life sciences and industrial applications. Key brands within Packaging include Rieke, Affaba & Ferrari, Taplast, Rapak, Aarts Packaging, Intertech, and Omega Plastics. The segment produces foaming pumps, lotion dispensers, beverage dispensers, perfume sprayers, trigger sprayers, caps and closures, jar products, flexible bag-in-box dispensers, airless dispensers for pharmaceutical applications, and components for vascular delivery and blood testing.
The Specialty Products segment, representing 17 percent of continuing operations revenue, includes the Norris Cylinder business, a leading manufacturer of high and low-pressure forged steel cylinders for compressed gas transportation and storage serving industrial, healthcare, and defense markets. Norris Cylinder is the only remaining high-pressure Type 1 forged steel cylinder manufacturer in the United States.
TriMas operates approximately 3,700 employees across 37 manufacturing and support locations in 13 countries, with 41 percent of employees located outside the United States. The company generated net sales from continuing operations of $645.7 million in 2025, with approximately 66 percent derived from North American sales. International operations contributed 36.8 percent of continuing operations net sales, with 47.6 percent of long-lived assets located outside the United States.
The company maintains a global manufacturing footprint with facilities in North America, Europe, and Asia, enabling efficient supply chain management and proximity to key customers.
