Trustmark Corporation is a bank holding company that operates as a diversified financial services organization through its principal subsidiary, Trustmark Bank, a Mississippi state-chartered member of the Federal Reserve System. The company provides comprehensive banking and wealth management solutions across six geographic markets spanning Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas, with approximately 2,543 full-time equivalent associates and total assets of $18.9 billion as of December 31, 2025.
The company operates through two primary segments: General Banking and Wealth Management. The General Banking Segment encompasses commercial banking services for corporations and business customers, consumer banking including deposit and lending products, and mortgage banking operations covering construction financing, conventional and government-insured mortgage production, and servicing. Trustmark Bank also provides treasury management services and maintains a New Market Tax Credits program through its subsidiary Southern Community Capital, LLC, which serves as a certified Community Development Entity offering investment capital for low-income communities.
The Wealth Management Segment delivers specialized fiduciary services including trust administration, investment management, brokerage services, qualified and non-qualified retirement plan administration, and custodial services for corporate and individual clients, employee benefit plans, and charitable foundations. The company also provides institutional custody for governmental entities and foundations alongside financial and estate planning services.
Trustmark's loan portfolio totaled $13.7 billion in loans held for investment as of year-end 2025, with diversified lending across construction and land development, residential properties, nonfarm nonresidential properties, commercial and industrial loans, consumer credit, and other commercial loans and leases. The company maintains deposit market share rankings within the top three positions in 52 percent of the 56 counties it serves and within the top five positions in 68 percent of those counties.
