Vicor operates through two primary product categories: Advanced Products and Brick Products. Advanced Products, which represented approximately 61 percent of consolidated total net revenues, consist of highly differentiated power conversion solutions implementing the company's proprietary Factorized Power Architecture, or FPA. These products target high-performance computing applications, particularly data center and hyperscaler segments where they power server motherboards, server racks, and datacenter infrastructure. The company's latest innovations include Power-on-Package solutions for artificial intelligence accelerators and vertical power delivery systems. Brick Products, representing approximately 39 percent of revenues, comprise integrated power converters used in conventional power system architectures across aerospace and defense electronics, industrial equipment, instrumentation, test equipment, and transportation applications.

The company maintains manufacturing operations at its headquarters facility in Andover, Massachusetts, spanning approximately 320,000 square feet, supplemented by third-party wafer foundries and packaging contractors in the United States and Asia. Vicor operates Technical Support Centers worldwide in major markets including China, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom. The company also operates two Vicor Custom Power subsidiaries in Texas and Oregon that design and deliver custom power system solutions.

As of December 31, 2025, Vicor employed 1,092 full-time employees and 23 part-time temporary employees. The company serves customers concentrated among large original equipment manufacturers, original design manufacturers, and contract manufacturers in computing, aerospace, defense, industrial, and telecommunications sectors. International sales represented approximately 50.8 percent of total net revenues, with significant exposure to Asian markets.

Vicor's competitive positioning rests on proprietary technologies including high-frequency switching topologies, advanced magnetic structures, and differentiated packaging. The company maintains an extensive intellectual property portfolio with 128 issued United States patents and numerous pending applications. Licensing of intellectual property generated approximately 14.1 percent of total net revenues in 2025.
