The company operates through its New Rise subsidiary, which owns and operates production facilities designed to convert waste and residue-based feedstocks into clean-burning fuels that reduce lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions compared to conventional fossil fuels.
The company's flagship facility, New Rise Reno, is located in Reno, Nevada on ten acres within the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center. This production facility employs a two-stage hydrotreating process capable of processing approximately 130,000 gallons of feedstock daily and is designed to produce sustainable aviation fuel meeting ASTM Standard D7566 specifications. The facility has direct rail access adjacent to Interstate 80 and maintains feedstock storage capacity of 1.5 million gallons. New Rise Reno currently produces renewable diesel as an interim product while ramping toward full sustainable aviation fuel production capacity of approximately 38 million gallons annually.
XCF's growth strategy includes New Rise Reno 2, a planned adjacent facility in Nevada expected to add 40 million gallons of annual sustainable aviation fuel production capacity by 2028. The company also owns dormant biodiesel facilities in Fort Myers, Florida and Wilson, North Carolina that are under evaluation for conversion into sustainable aviation fuel and renewable fuels production.
