The company generates revenues through five reportable segments. The Digital Media Businesses, comprising Technology & Shopping, Gaming & Entertainment, and Health & Wellness, derive primary revenue from advertising and performance marketing. The Connectivity segment, operating under the Ookla brand, provides broadband network intelligence and insights through data collection and analysis. The Cybersecurity & Martech segment delivers cloud-based subscription and licensed services to consumers and businesses.

Within Technology & Shopping, Ziff Davis operates leading brands including CNET, PCMag, Mashable, Lifehacker, Spiceworks, ZDNET, RetailMeNot, VoucherCodes, and Offers.com. The Gaming & Entertainment segment includes IGN Entertainment, which reaches over 440 million monthly users across 15 digital properties, and Humble Bundle, a digital subscription and storefront that has raised over $275 million for charitable causes since its inception. The Health & Wellness segment operates Everyday Health Group, featuring properties such as Everyday Health, MedPage Today, BabyCenter, and Lose It!, serving consumers, healthcare professionals, and expectant parents.

The Connectivity platform provides testing applications, analysis, and insights through Speedtest, Ekahau, Downdetector, and RootMetrics brands. The Cybersecurity & Martech business operates through the VIPRE Security Group and MOZ Group, offering endpoint security, email marketing, search engine optimization, and communication services.

As of December 31, 2025, Ziff Davis employed approximately 3,900 people, with 55 percent based in the United States and 45 percent internationally. The company has executed nearly 100 acquisitions between 2012 and 2025, deploying approximately $3.3 billion on this acquisition strategy.
