The Fund seeks investment results that correspond (before fees and expenses) generally to the price and yield performance of its underlying index, the Alerian MLP Infrastructure Index (ticker symbol AMZI) (the Underlying Index).
The fund tracks the Alerian MLP Infrastructure Index using a passive indexing approach, holding securities of energy infrastructure master limited partnerships engaged in transportation, storage, and processing of energy commodities. The fund will normally invest at least 90% of its assets in index constituents. Unlike direct MLP ownership, shareholders receive ordinary 1099 distributions rather than K-1 pass-through income and do not qualify for the 20% deduction available to direct MLP investors.
