Fund profile
As filed in the prospectus · 2026 Q2
Baillie Gifford International Growth Fund seeks capital appreciation.
The fund invests in a diversified international portfolio of equity securities from developed and emerging markets, with up to 10% in U.S. stocks, using bottom-up stock selection to identify companies with attractive long-term growth prospects without benchmark constraints. The portfolio managers research factors including competitive advantage, management quality, financial strength, and valuation, typically building a portfolio of at least 50 growth companies held for long periods with the aim to outperform the MSCI ACWI ex USA Index. Because the fund aims to hold securities for extended periods and does not actively reduce holdings even when market movements cause it to operate as a non-diversified company, concentrated positions in single countries or regions may persist. The fund maintains full exposure to currency fluctuations and may invest in Chinese A shares, unregistered securities, and IPOs.
