The investment objective of the Dimensional International Small Cap Value ETF (the International Small Cap Value ETF or Portfolio) is to achieve long-term capital appreciation.
The fund invests in small-capitalization value stocks from developed non-U.S. markets, selecting companies with low prices relative to book value and emphasizing those with higher profitability. The Advisor ranks eligible companies by market capitalization within each country and sets country-specific thresholds to define the small-cap universe, then adjusts positions based on shorter-term factors including price momentum and investment characteristics. Because the fund's selection relies on these shorter-term considerations and trading decisions, its holdings and weightings may diverge from a static market-cap-weighted small-value universe.
