What this fund is
Objective, as filed

Fidelity Freedom Blend 2035 Fund seeks high total return until its target retirement date. Thereafter the fund's objective will be to seek high current income and, as a

Strategy, summarised

The fund invests in a mix of Fidelity U.S. equity, international equity, bond, and short-term funds, both actively and passively managed, with asset allocations that shift over time along a glide path toward a more conservative mix similar to the Fidelity Freedom Blend Retirement Fund, approximately 15 to 20 years after 2035. The adviser may actively overweight or underweight equity, bond, and short-term funds by up to 10% relative to neutral allocations based on market outlook, and may allocate up to 25% in aggregate to other asset classes including high-yield debt, floating rate debt, and emerging markets debt. Because the fund invests through underlying Fidelity funds rather than holding securities directly, its performance depends on the performance and fees of those underlying funds.
