The First Trust Dorsey Wright Focus 5 ETF (the Fund ) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the Funds fees and expenses) of an index called the Dorsey Wright Focus Five TM Index (the Index ).
The fund tracks the Dorsey Wright Focus Five Index, which selects five First Trust sector and industry ETFs based on relative strength momentum analysis and reconstitutes semi-monthly, meaning the fund holds a fund of funds rather than securities directly. Because the index rebalances and reconstitutes frequently, the fund may experience higher portfolio turnover. The fund will be concentrated in whatever sectors or industries the index emphasizes at any given time.
