Fund profile
As filed in the prospectus · 2025 Q4
Capital appreciation. The Fund's secondary goal is to provide shareholders with current income through dividends or interest received from its investments.
The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in securities of gold and precious metals operation companies worldwide, focusing on firms with low-cost reserves, experienced management, and long-life production profiles or expandable resource bases. As a non-diversified fund, it concentrates a greater portion of assets in fewer issuers than a diversified fund and may heavily invest in small- and mid-capitalization companies, with a substantial portion of holdings currently domiciled in Canada. Because the fund invests in a smaller number of issuers, performance depends materially on the success of those concentrated positions.
