Fund profile
As filed in the prospectus · 2025 Q3
Franklin International Low Volatility High Dividend Index ETF (International Low Volatility High Dividend Index ETF or the fund) seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of publicly traded equity securities of developed markets outside of the United States with relatively high yield and low price and earnings volatility while mitigating exposure to fluctuations between the values of the U.S. dollar and other international currencies.
The fund tracks the Franklin International Low Volatility High Dividend Hedged Index, which selects developed-market equities outside the U.S. that have demonstrated profitability, pay or are anticipated to pay dividends, and exhibit relatively low price and earnings volatility, with index weights optimized to maximize a composite stable yield score. The fund uses currency forward contracts to hedge exposure to foreign currencies, designed so that weakening foreign currencies enhance returns while strengthening currencies reduce them. Day-to-day investment decisions are delegated to Franklin Advisers, the subadviser. Because the fund may use representative sampling rather than holding all index constituents, its returns may diverge from the index.
