What this fund is
Objective, as filed

The iShares MSCI Global Gold Miners ETF (the Fund ) seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of global equities of companies primarily engaged in the business of gold mining.

Strategy, summarised

The fund tracks the MSCI ACWI Select Gold Miners Investable Market Index, which holds a minimum of 30 companies globally engaged primarily in gold mining and typically unhedged to gold prices; the index applies a capping methodology limiting any single issuer to 25% weight and issuers above 5% to 50% cumulative weight. The fund uses representative sampling, meaning it may not hold all index constituents and could diverge from index performance. The fund maintains at least 40% of assets in issuers organized or located outside the U.S.
