Fund profile
As filed in the prospectus · 2025 Q3
The fund's investment objective is to seek a high level of total return consistent with an aggressive level of risk relative to the other MFS Asset Allocation Funds. (The MFS Asset Allocation Funds currently are MFS Conservative Allocation Fund, MFS Moderate Allocation Fund, MFS Growth Allocation Fund, and MFS Aggressive Growth Allocation Fund.)
The fund invests in other MFS mutual funds to gain diversified exposure across asset classes, with a strategic allocation process that uses quantitative models incorporating valuation metrics, growth rates, yields, and inflation projections to determine weightings among equity funds, non-traditional funds such as real estate and commodities, bond funds, and money market funds. Within equities, the fund diversifies by geography, market capitalization, and style; non-traditional funds are capped at 20% of assets to provide exposure less correlated to traditional markets. The fund's long-term target allocation is 100% to equity and non-traditional funds with 0% to bonds and cash, though MFS may deviate by up to 10 percentage points under normal conditions.

These classes hold the same portfolio, so the 4.87pp spread over 3 years is the cost difference between them — roughly 1.62pp a year — not a difference in what they own.
May 2026 has been filed since the trailing figures were struck, so it is not in the table above or the curve — every figure here shares one cut-off, which is what makes them comparable with other funds.
