VanEck Gold Miners ETF (the Fund) seeks to track as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the MarketVector Global Gold Miners Index (the Gold Miners Index or the Index).
The fund tracks the MarketVector Global Gold Miners Index, a modified capitalization-weighted index of publicly traded gold and silver mining companies, by holding securities that comprise the index. As a non-diversified fund, it may invest a greater percentage of its assets in a particular issuer than a diversified fund would permit. The fund's returns will diverge from the index to the extent it does not hold all index constituents or weights them differently.
