What this fund is
Objective, as filed

VanEck Junior Gold Miners ETF (the Fund) seeks to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the MVIS Global Junior Gold Miners Index (the Junior Gold Miners Index or the Index).

Strategy, summarised

The fund uses a passive indexing strategy to replicate the MVIS Global Junior Gold Miners Index, holding securities of junior gold mining companies—those ranking in the bottom 60% to 98% of market capitalization among eligible producers—that derive at least 50% of revenues from gold and silver mining, royalties, or streaming. As a non-diversified fund, it may invest a greater percentage of its assets in a particular issuer than a diversified fund. Because the fund attempts to approximate the Index's performance rather than beat it, tracking error and divergence from Index returns may result from fees, expenses, and the mechanics of portfolio replication.
