10x Genomics serves researchers around the world, including academic and translational researchers and biopharmaceutical companies. The company has sold 8,046 instruments since launching its first product in mid-2015. The company's total revenue was $642.8 million in 2025, with 1,007 instruments and 424,000 consumable reactions sold during that year. More than 10,000 peer-reviewed articles have been published based on data generated using the company's products.
The company operates two primary portfolios.
