Analytical Instruments offers chromatography, mass spectrometry, chemical analysis and electron microscopy solutions for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic and industrial markets. Specialty Diagnostics delivers diagnostic test kits, reagents, culture media and instruments across clinical diagnostics, immunodiagnostics, microbiology and transplant diagnostics. Laboratory Products and Biopharma Services combines self-manufactured and sourced laboratory products with comprehensive outsourced services for pharmaceutical and biotech industries, including drug development, clinical research and commercial manufacturing.

The company operates under industry-leading brands including Thermo Scientific, Applied Biosystems, Invitrogen, Fisher Scientific, Unity Lab Services, Patheon and PPD. As of December 31, 2025, Thermo Fisher employed approximately 125,000 colleagues globally, distributed across the Americas with 59,000 employees, Asia-Pacific with 22,000 employees, and Europe, the Middle East and Africa with 44,000 employees. The company maintains approximately 14,000 sales personnel including highly trained technical specialists.

Thermo Fisher pursues growth through organic investments in research and development, capacity expansion and strategic acquisitions. The company recorded significant goodwill and indefinite-lived intangible assets totaling approximately 49.36 billion and 1.23 billion dollars respectively as of December 31, 2025, reflecting its acquisition-driven growth strategy.
