Under Armour distributes products through wholesale channels including national and regional sporting goods retailers, department stores and independent specialty retailers, as well as direct-to-consumer channels comprising 443 Brand and Factory House stores globally and e-commerce platforms. Wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels represented 57 percent and 41 percent of net revenues respectively.

As of March 31, 2026, the company employed approximately 14,100 teammates worldwide, including approximately 10,100 in retail stores and 900 at distribution facilities. The company maintains strategic partnerships with professional, collegiate and youth sports organizations and athletes across multiple sports globally. Manufacturing operations are substantially outsourced to unaffiliated manufacturers, with apparel and accessories produced by 40 primary contract manufacturers across 17 countries and footwear produced by seven primary manufacturers primarily in Vietnam and Indonesia.

Under Armour's intellectual property portfolio includes registered trademarks such as the UA Logo and UNDER ARMOUR brand across major markets including the United States, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, European Union, Japan and China. The company competes in the performance athletic market against established brands including Nike, adidas and Puma, differentiating through brand positioning, product innovation and selective distribution strategies.
