Broadcom employs approximately 33,000 people worldwide, with roughly 57% in research and development roles. The workforce spans North America (49%), Asia (36%) and Europe, the Middle East and Africa (15%). The company maintains design and development centers primarily across the United States, Asia and Europe, positioning it near major customers and manufacturing facilities.

The company's strategy emphasizes sustained technology leadership and category-leading solutions through extensive internal research and development combined with strategic acquisitions.
