The company operates through two primary segments: Semiconductor Technologies and Interconnect Solutions. Qnity became an independent publicly traded company on November 1, 2025, following its separation from DuPont de Nemours, Inc., with common stock commencing trading on the New York Stock Exchange on November 3, 2025. The Semiconductor Technologies segment provides advanced materials and solutions utilized across multiple stages of semiconductor manufacturing, including chemical mechanical planarization slurries and pads, lithographic materials, specialty cleaning chemistries, and advanced display materials for organic light-emitting diode applications. The Interconnect Solutions segment offers comprehensive material solutions for advanced packaging, printed circuit boards, thermal management, and electromagnetic interference shielding, addressing signal integrity, thermal and power management, and miniaturization challenges.

Qnity serves leading semiconductor device manufacturers, foundries, equipment providers, and original equipment manufacturers globally. The company's top ten customers accounted for 34 percent of net sales in 2025, with Samsung Electronics and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company representing 11 percent and 8 percent of revenue respectively. Over 90 percent of Qnity's revenue derives from consumable or unit-driven products utilized in manufacturing processes or incorporated into final electronic devices.

The company operates approximately 40 manufacturing sites and facilities across all geographic regions, with approximately 60 percent of its more than 10,000 employees located in Asia Pacific, 32 percent in the U.S. and Canada, 5 percent in Europe, Middle East and Africa, and 3 percent in Latin America. Approximately 70 percent of raw materials are sourced locally, and approximately 80 percent of products are manufactured and sold within the same geographic region. Qnity maintains a diverse supplier base with no single supplier representing more than 10 percent of raw material spending. The company holds approximately 7,000 patents and patent applications globally, with approximately 70 percent consisting of issued patents as of December 31, 2025.
