The business

Rocket Lab Corporation (NASDAQ: RKLB) operates as an end-to-end space company providing reliable launch services, spacecraft design and manufacturing, spacecraft components, optical systems, and on-orbit management solutions. The company's website is located at https://investors.rocketlabcorp.com.

The company's core business centers on two primary segments: launch services and space systems. Rocket Lab's flagship product is Electron, a fully carbon composite small orbital launch vehicle powered by proprietary Rutherford electric turbopump 3D-printed engines. Since its maiden launch in 2017 through December 31, 2025, Electron has completed 75 successful missions deploying over 200 spacecraft to orbit for commercial and government customers. In 2025, Electron was the second most frequently launched orbital rocket globally. The company is developing Neutron, a medium-lift launch vehicle designed to carry approximately 13,000 kilograms to low Earth orbit in reusable configuration, targeting constellation deployments and interplanetary missions.

Rocket Lab operates multiple launch complexes providing significant competitive advantages. Launch Complex 1 in Mahia, New Zealand, a private facility capable of supporting up to 120 missions annually, operates two launch pads eliminating typical pad recycle delays. Launch Complex 2 at NASA's Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia supports up to eight missions yearly with 24-hour rapid call-up capability for defense needs. Launch Complex 3, also at Wallops, is under construction to support Neutron launches.

The space systems segment encompasses spacecraft components, design services, and complete spacecraft solutions. The company manufactures composite structures, reaction wheels, star trackers, solar power solutions, radios, separation systems, command and control software, high-voltage batteries, and advanced electro-optical and infrared sensor payloads. This segment includes flight hardware on over 1,800 missions through acquisitions of Sinclair Interplanetary, Advanced Solutions Incorporated, Planetary Systems Corporation, SolAero Technologies, and GEOST.

As of December 31, 2025, Rocket Lab employed over 2,600 full-time permanent employees worldwide across facilities in Long Beach and Albuquerque in the United States, Auckland and Mahia in New Zealand, and Tucson, Arizona. The company serves diverse commercial, aerospace, and government customers including the Department of War, NASA, DARPA, and the National Reconnaissance Office.

Fund ownership counts N-PORT filers only, so it is a floor rather than a census — pensions, insurers and direct holders are not visible here, and the remainder is not “held by individuals”.

Fund ownership is a subset of institutional 13F ownership — the two describe overlapping populations and must not be added together.
