The business

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. (NYSE: CHD) operates as a diversified consumer household and personal care products company with a heritage dating back to 1846. The company develops, manufactures, and markets a broad portfolio of well-recognized brands across multiple consumer and specialty categories, available at www.churchdwight.com.

The company operates through three principal segments: Consumer Domestic, Consumer International, and Specialty Products Division. Consumer Domestic represents the largest segment, comprising household products such as laundry detergents, cat litter, and cleaning solutions marketed under the ARM & HAMMER, OXICLEAN, and XTRA brands, alongside personal care offerings including oral care, depilatories, condoms, and water flossers. Consumer International, representing approximately eighteen percent of consolidated net sales, markets personal care and household products across subsidiary markets in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, China, and the United Kingdom, while exporting to over one hundred countries globally. The Specialty Products Division focuses on animal nutrition, specialty chemicals, and commercial and professional cleaning products, accounting for approximately five percent of net sales.

Church & Dwight's portfolio includes seven designated power brands representing approximately seventy percent of net sales and profits: ARM & HAMMER, OXICLEAN, BATISTE, WATERPIK, THERABREATH, HERO, and TOUCHLAND. Additional significant brands include TROJAN condoms, FIRST RESPONSE pregnancy test kits, NAIR depilatories, ORAJEL oral analgesics, ZICAM cold relief products, and SIMPLY SALINE nasal solutions.

The company manufactures sodium bicarbonate at facilities in Green River, Wyoming and Old Fort, Ohio, leveraging abundant trona reserves in southwestern Wyoming. Distribution occurs through supermarkets, mass merchandisers, wholesale clubs, drugstores, e-commerce channels, and specialty retailers. Walmart and its affiliates represent the company's largest customer, accounting for approximately twenty-three percent of consolidated net sales.

Recent strategic actions include the July 2025 acquisition of Touchland Holding Corp, developer of the TOUCHLAND hand sanitizer brand, and the December 2025 divestiture of the VitaFusion and L'il Critters vitamin brands. The company exited the Flawless, Spinbrush, and Waterpik showerhead businesses during 2025 to focus on faster-growing value and premium product lines.

Fund ownership counts N-PORT filers only, so it is a floor rather than a census — pensions, insurers and direct holders are not visible here, and the remainder is not “held by individuals”.

Fund ownership is a subset of institutional 13F ownership — the two describe overlapping populations and must not be added together.
