The business

Owens Corning and Subsidiaries operates as a global building products leader committed to material innovation and sustainable solutions. The company, which trades on the NYSE under ticker symbol OC, maintains its corporate presence at www.owenscorning.com. Founded in 1938 and headquartered in Toledo, Ohio, Owens Corning generated net sales of $10.1 billion in 2025 while employing approximately 25,000 people across 31 countries.

The company operates through three reportable segments that collectively serve residential and non-residential construction markets. The Roofing segment, representing 43 percent of net sales, manufactures laminate asphalt roofing shingles, roofing components, composite lumber, and oxidized asphalt for residential construction. The Insulation segment comprises 36 percent of revenues and produces thermal and acoustical batts, loosefill insulation, spray foam, and specialized products sold under brands including Owens Corning PINK Next Gen FIBERGLAS Insulation, FOAMULAR, FOAMGLAS, and Paroc. The Doors segment, accounting for 21 percent of net sales, resulted from the May 2024 acquisition of Masonite International Corporation and produces residential interior and exterior doors made from wood, glass, fiberglass, and metal for repair, remodel, and new construction markets.

Owens Corning holds significant competitive positions as the second-largest producer of asphalt roofing shingles in the United States and North America's largest producer of residential, commercial, and industrial fiberglass insulation. The company is also among North America's largest producers of interior and exterior doors. The company maintains vertical integration across its operations, from raw material sourcing through final assembly and fabrication.

The company's intellectual property portfolio includes the distinctive PINK color trademark, registered in the United States since 1956 as the first single-color trademark registration. Owens Corning also holds numerous patents, trademarks, and proprietary technology covering its products and manufacturing processes.

In February 2025, the company entered into a definitive agreement to divest its global glass reinforcements business for approximately $436 million, representing a strategic shift to focus on building products in North America and Europe. The transaction was expected to close in early 2026 and reflects the company's repositioning as a pure-play building products manufacturer.

Fund ownership counts N-PORT filers only, so it is a floor rather than a census — pensions, insurers and direct holders are not visible here, and the remainder is not “held by individuals”.

Fund ownership is a subset of institutional 13F ownership — the two describe overlapping populations and must not be added together.
