Founded in 1857 and incorporated as a holding company in 1982, ACNB has grown through strategic acquisitions including New Windsor Bancorp in 2017, Frederick County Bancorp in 2020, and Traditions Bancorp in 2025. The company operates 33 community banking offices across south-central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland, with additional loan production offices in West Lawn, Pennsylvania and Hunt Valley, Maryland. ACNB Bank serves nine counties spanning Adams, Berks, Cumberland, Franklin, Lancaster, and York counties in Pennsylvania, along with Baltimore, Carroll, and Frederick counties in Maryland.
